IRISOLARIS commissions its first off-grid system

IRISOLARIS designed its first complete off-grid system in 2020! The system concerns the electrification of an island in the Bahamas for 21 hours per day. Very isolated, the site is now 100% autonomous thanks to an electrical network supplied by green energy.

Faced with logistical constraints in this hostile environment, IRISOLARIS has been able to adapt its solutions. For example, the company has integrated a program to optimize energy production. Indeed, the program integrates batteries whose role is first to store the surplus panels. It also allows the island's generator sets to run at their optimum power.

After this successful commissioning, the customer will now be able to consider installing other energy sources such as wind power. It will also be able to increase its photovoltaic field and its battery park.

In a few figures, this project represents a production of 74kWp of solar energy and 377 m² of surface area covered by photovoltaic panels.
