Work in progress - Parves-et-Nattages ground power plant

The Parves-et-Nattages (01) ground-based photovoltaic power plant site is underway on the former Rocheret quarry and will be put into operation in early 2022!

Construction work on this solar power plant have begun in early 2021, a few months after the filing of cessation of quarry exploitation activities on the concerned perimeter.
This work is the culmination of several years devoted to the conduct of technical and environmental impact studies, as well as to the instruction by the State services of the necessary administrative authorization requests.

Very committed to the energy transition, the commune of Parves-et-Nattages called on Irisolaris, a major company in the field of renewable energies , and to SIPEnR , Mixed Economy Company which develops and operates projects of renewable energies in partnership with local authorities, to develop this photovoltaic power plant project.

This ground-based photovoltaic plant will be located on a rocky surface that cannot be built on and without the possibility of farming. Two construction phases are planned as part of this project: a first phase which covers 6 hectares with a connection scheduled for early 2022 for a power of 4.5 MWp, and a second phase on 9.6 hectares with a connection planned for 2023 for a power of 9.4 MWp.

In 2023, at the end of the two phases of the site, the commissioned plant will produce 16,700 MWh of renewable electricity each year, thus making it possible to make sustainable use of this untapped land, i.e. the equivalent of 4 to 5 times the total electricity consumption. of the municipality of Parves-et-Nattages (3,591 MWh in 2020, source ENEDIS), all consumers combined.
