Albi Town Hall
Winner of a CRE call for projects, the town hall of Albi has launched a photovoltaic power plant on the ground to meet two major challenges: increase the share of renewable energies in its energy mix and reduce its CO₂ emissions.

Our solution?
The installation of a 5 MWp ground plant, producing 6,600 MWh/year, equivalent to the consumption of 200 households.
Area: 10 hectares
6,600 MWh

Annual production

13000

“One of the objectives of the mandate is to develop renewable energies as much as possible. An inventory is currently underway to analyze the existing and the constraints linked to our status as a heritage city (UNESCO).
The Albi-Pélissier site, historically energy producer, was unusable due to soil pollution. The city of Albi bought the land from EDF, then launched a call for expressions of interest (AMI) in 2018.
Irisolaris, in a group with SEM Sipenr, won this friend with a very technical file. The execution of the project took place on time, in excellent conditions.
Jean-Michel Bouat, Deputy Mayor of Albi, Delegate for Sustainable Development
