The municipality has transformed an old unused quarry into a renewable energy production site.

Our solution?
The construction of a photovoltaic power plant on the ground – the largest ever built by Irisolaris.

From 2014, the energy transition was one of the main priorities of the municipality of Parves-et-Cattages. The collective self-consumption interested us from its inception. We were delighted tha tIRISOLARIS offers this solution to enhance the electricity produced by the Parves-et-Cattages ground plant: make it a place of photovoltaic production to offer local and decarbonized energy to neighboring communities and nearby industrialists.
The municipality of Parves-et-Cattages itself consumes this carbon-free electricity and takes a step further in the energy transition of its territory. Today, we feed many public buildings (town hall, school, firefighters, rural home, church, etc.). Taking advantage of the electricity of the photovoltaic power plant also means making an economic gain on all the buildings of the municipality equivalent to 25% of the consumption of the town hall and the school.
