Construction accounts for nearly 40% of global CO₂ emissions, according to the International Energy Agency. Faced with the climate emergency, integrating carbon sobriety from the design of buildings becomes a priority. Several levers make it possible to significantly reduce their environmental footprint.

Energy efficiency

High-performance insulation, dual-flow ventilation systems and high energy efficiency equipment (heat pumps, solar panels) reduce energy consumption. positive energy buildings (“ bepos ») even produce more energy than they consume thanks, among other things, to the installation of photovoltaic power plants.

Plant integration

Roofs and green walls improve thermal insulation and capture CO₂. A study of theAdeme shows that a green roof can reduce up to 5% air conditioning needs.

  • Soft mobility

Encouraging public transport, cycle paths and bicycle parking lots around buildings limits travel-related emissions.
